Volleyball is taking over Detroit's Cobo Center with the thousands flocking to town for USA Volleyball's year-end girls event.

The Detroit Sports Commission scored the 2018 USA Volleyball girls national championships, creating a 600,000 square foot volleyball village with 75 courts inside Cobo.

"More than 1,270 volleyball teams will compete June 25 to July 4 at Cobo Center for a total of 26 national titles," Detroit Sports Commission's Marty Dobek said.
