The recent release of the iPhone 7 has brought a new onslaught commercials highlighting the new phone's features.

This includes a quick 30-second spot where someone goes on a bike ride in a thunderstorm, and it's meant to showcase the phone's water resistance.

This kind of activity is not only dangerous, it’s deadly.

An average of 31 people die every year from lightning. So far this year, 36 people have died from lightning strikes, and most of those people were outside enjoying recreational activities.
