Metro Detroit traffic: Updates on accidents, closures for your morning commute

Before you head out of the door for your morning commute, here are some traffic updates to keep on the radar:

Detroit
Closed due to road construction
I-75 SB between Springwells St/Exit 45 and Northline Rd
Scheduled through November 2018 - Traffic can detour I-94 WB to I-275 SB to I-75

St. Clair
On-ramp closedI-94/I-69 WB at Blue Water Bridge
The Blue Water Bridge plaza connector ramp to I-94/I-69 WB is closed due to construction until 6:00 am Friday (5/12) - traffic will be detoured via I-94/I-69 Business Loop back to westbound I-94/I-69

Commerce Twp
Closed due to road constructionM-5 SB EB between West Maple Rd and W 12 Mile Rd
M-5 SB is closed between Maple Rd and 12 Mile Rd through Monday (5/15). - Beginning Monday (5/15) at 6:00 am, M-5 NB between 12 Mile and Pontiac Trl is scheduled to close through mid-June. Try Haggerty as a possible alternate.
12 Mile can access the south M-5 ramp. Northbound M-5 is open, and the turnaround at 12 Mile is open. 13 & 14 Mile turnarounds are closed.
