DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) — "Wayne County is curb to curb and our guys will be here until all the roads are clear," said Bill Bantom, director of the Wayne County Roads Division, as crews hung plows on their trucks before going home to rest for what is expected to be a long weekend.

Sylvia English was filling up her vehicle with gas after picking up some groceries.

"I just want to make sure that I'm prepared to stay in the house," English said. "I've got all the snacks that I need for my kids."

A winter weather advisory has been issued for southeast Michigan from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. Saturday.

Over 100 drivers with the Wayne County Road Division are scheduled to start work at 1 a.m. Saturday.

Bantom said drivers will first apply salt and then start plowing once accumulation gets to about two inches.
