The cold wind is pushing rain showers through from time to time tonight with some changing to snow showers overnight. Snow showers could be falling during the morning commute, especially in the northwest suburbs. The accumulation should be on the grass, but  even wet roads could have a few slick spots because lows in the best snow chance areas will be in the low 30s.

Halloween will be cold with temperatures in the low to middle 40s for Trick-or-Treaters. There could be a sprinkle or a flurry out there too.

NEXT 48 HOURS:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, windy with scattered showers... some could be all snow showers toward morning.  Lows: 31-36 / Winds SW 10-20
