Overnight snow and cold temperatures lead to slow, slipppery morning commute around metro Detroit

(WXYZ) - After cold temperatures and snow last night, drivers across metro Detroit faced snowy road conditions for their Monday morning drive.

Nearly all highways this morning were snow-covered, leading to slower driving and longer commutes, with some drive times being doubled.

Residents of the metro area are sick of this weather, and hope that Mother Nature will give us a break.

With the cold temperatures moving in over the next two days, salt will have little effect on the roads.
