A bone-chilling end to October and that means Halloween will be colder than average for Metro Detroiters.
Temperatures are expected to be 10º below average with a breeze that will have you bundling up before heading outdoors to trick-or-treat with your kids. Wind chills values will be in the low to mid 30s, so make sure you and the kids wear a costume that will keep them warm.
This time of year, the weather could be a joy or a torture, due to drastic swings in the jet stream that could cause us to sweat or literally have our make-up running down our face because of rain.

So, this year will be chilly, but nothing compared to the record, and at least it will be mostly dry without rain or snow to talk about.
