MORNOE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Public House in Monroe is doing their part to bring Easter to people at home. They are providing family meals for brunch and dinner.

“We are doing a brunch. It’s based on four people, it is going to be charged at $15 a person, and we are doing a full brunch menu: orange juice, stuffed French toast, ham, potatoes,” said owner George Darany. “We are doing a dinner with a whole roasted chicken, ham, all the sides dessert, everything and that is based on four people and it is $18.”

All the food at Public House is locally sourced, meaning farm to plate food.

“Everything here we make from scratch, there isn’t a thing we bring in that isn’t made here,” said Darany.

Customers are being asked to place their Easter orders sooner rather than later to help them prepare and plan to feed as many people as possible.

They are also making family meals on a nightly basis.

They also are helping give back to the community. Public House is accepting donations to help feed hospital workers at ProMedica in Monroe. When someone makes a donation, it is matched by 20 percent. They’re also donating to students out of school.

“We set up a program where people can donate through us, and we set it up and we once a week take food to the hospital and once a week we take food to the Y, we are feeding the kids that normally get their food from schools,” said Darany.
