For the past 16 years, Debby Celia and her husband, Gregorio, have made preparing delicious dishes their life's work.

"Our meat lasagna is to die for," she said.

With the community battling the COVID-19 crisis, the couple is often making food to donate across the street at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, as well as for first responders.

Demand is strong for their pickup and delivery customers. They're open 4-7 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 4-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Just call (734) 283-3354.

“Our pastas are unique. Butternut squash ravioli. Beef and cheese. Tri-color tortellini & gnocchi," she said.

Known for their pastas, sauces and savory steaks, the crew at Gregorio's also has something to lift the spirits of those with a sweet tooth. Debby's mom's original cannoli recipe.

At the end of the day, even with abbreviated hours, Gregorio's is making a real difference and taking countless measures with food safety.

“We’re not doing direct contact. We have a sanitation station for food and money to be put in," he said.

They're wearing gloves, constantly cleaning and making sure no one else enters the food prep area.

Debby credits her loyal staff for volunteering their time to be there in this time of need.
