DETROIT, MI (WXYZ) — A Girl Like Me, Inc. is a Detroit-based nonprofit serving girls and young mothers ages 11–25 through education, mentorship, parenting support, and access to essential baby supplies.
The organization was founded by Tyra Moore, who became a mother at 14. She's now sharing her experience to help other young moms in a book titled, Just My Mom: Beyond Labels and Love.
