WYANDOTTE, MICH (WXYZ) — Fire & Flannel Fest is Wyandotte's new and exciting fall festival where everything is centered around fire and flannel.

The event will take span over 3 city blocks in downtown Wyandotte. There will be hours of entertainment including a carnival, archery, axe throwing, magic acts and live chainsaw carvings.
Come see World Champion Lumberjacks in head to head competition! Chopping, Sawing, Axe Throwing, Log Rolling and Speed Climbing - it's a great combination of action packed fun and comedy!

The Wyandotte Fire Department will be hosting an open house Sunday, Sept 29 to showcase their newly renovated Fire Station. The Fire Dept. will host kids activities including face painting and a demos on how to operate a fire hose. We are also encouraging a touch a truck event where children can explore the fire trucks and police vehicles. Visitors can also enjoy the flavors of Fall with Smore's stations, ciders, donuts, hard ciders and fall beers.

Everyone is encourage to wear flannel shirts for this fun fall occasion. Vendor booths will line the streets and featuring harvest goods and unique craft items.
