(WXYZ) — What started off as a way to provide thanksgiving meals to 1,000 families in need has become a year-round program to help others.
Higher Hopes! has distributed more than 1-million pounds of food in the last five years. Founder Bill Birndorf talked about the non-profit and goals for the future.
