HOWELL, MICH (WXYZ) — Will there be six more weeks of winter or will there be an early spring? Not according to Woody the Woodchuck.
During her 21st annual Groundhog's Day prediction on Sunday, Feb. 2, Woody failed to see her shadow, meaning we're in for an early spring.
The annual celebration is happening at the Howell Nature Center.
The festivities began at 8 a.m. Woody gave her prediction at 8:30 a.m. The fun continues with chances for kids to win Howell Nature gift certificates and a free continental breakfast breakfast while supplies last.
