Detroit’s oldest community theatre "The Park Players" with the final performances at the group's new home at the historic "Redford Theatre." 

Adapted from the hit animated movie, Shrek The Musical follows a cranky ogre and his loyal friend, Donkey, as they journey to rescue the temperamental Princess Fiona from a fire-breathing dragon. The Park Players presentation of this Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure is directed by Barbie Weisserman, of Farmington Hills, with music direction by Elizabeth Fisher, of Wayne, and choreography by Nicole Williams, of Southfield.  

The show's final performances are Friday May 4th at 8pm, Saturday May 5th at 8pm and  Sunday May 6th at 2pm.   Tickets are $15/$20, and are available online at ParkPlayers.org, through their Facebook page, facebook.com/ParkPlayersDetroit, or by calling the box office at (734)-752-1456.
