The State of HIV In Black America Conference is heading to Detroit on May 16 from the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS.
Established in 1987, the NBLCA is a leader and innovator committed to ensuring systemic issues in the fight against AIDS are addressed. It's part of their year-long commemoration advocating on behalf of African Americans living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS.
They anticipate 200 community leaders, including AIDS activists, people living with HIV and AIDS, elected officials and more to attend the conference.
