Genavieve Linkowski went from viral fame to Idol fame! Unfortunately, our local American Idol contestant did not make the cut.
She said,“I actually have no regrets.”
Humble and grateful are the words to describe Genavieve after being eliminated on last night’s episode.
She sang Kesha’s “Praying” and felt her stage presence was up to par, but her singing was not.
“I think the judges were wise in their decisions. They have a big job and I think they did a good job.”
Contestants were divided into three rooms, where they would learn the fate. Two rooms were a “yes” and one was a “no.”
Genavieve looked around her room and knew she wasn’t going to make it to the next round.
“Oh my gosh, they are going to be in the finale. This person is going to win. This person is going to be top ten and none of those people were in the room I was in.”
When asked who is the one to watch, she says Catie Turner.
“Fantastic and everybody loves her and I can really see her going all the way.”
Now that Genavieve is off the show, she is working towards getting a record deal.
“I came out very happy, with a clear conscience, no regrets, it was awesome.”
