(WXYZ) — Facebook has had a rough 2018. In March, Cambridge Analytica gained unauthorized access to up to 87 million users. In June, a bug set 14 million user’s sharing settings to public.

And late last week, Facebook revealed nearly 7 million users had their private photos shared with third party developers. So how do you know if you were impacted?

Facebook has provided this special help center link here, that takes you to a page detailing how you've been impacted. To see what kind of impact it's had on you, you'll need to be logged in.

Either it will tell you your Facebook account has not been affected, or it will list for the apps that may have had unauthorized access to photos from your marketplace or Facebook stories. The question we had for Metro Detroiters: with the rough year Facebook has had, does it make you want to delete your account?

"I use my Facebook account for business, so it's needed," said Nicola Grier.

Metro Detroiters we spoke with said they weren't ready to let it go and instead say the breaches told comes with the territory.

In response to 7 Action News, Facebook says they recommend users log into the apps where they've shared their Facebook photos to find out which ones they have. The company also says they’re working with developers to delete those photos.
