(WXYZ) — Calling all creative kids, the DTE Foundation is asking for help designing parade floats.

One of them will roll down Woodward during America's Thanksgiving Parade in downtown Detroit.

The foundation is encouraging students from kindergarten through the 12th grade to submit designs for the Thanksgiving parade and for the Traverse City Cherry Festival parade in July.

The winners will get to see their creation come to life and will get to ride on their float in the parade.

For more information on how to apply, visit the DTE Energy website, here.
