DETROIT (WXYZ) — Mardi Gras is the final festival before the season of Lent. Which makes it the perfect time for people to celebrate with the foods they love before giving these things up for the Lent holiday.
The folks at Lousiana Creole Gumbo in Detroit are sharing their recipe for their Super Jumbo Gumbo. It's posted below. The restaurant is also hosting a Mardi Gras celebration on Saturday, February 22, at both of its locations. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online.
