(WXYZ) — There's lots of excitement about the iPhone 11 unveiling, though at more than a $1,000 a pop the latest gadget may not be in the budget!

But this month brings good news – Apple is expected to drop prices on previous models.

Last year, after introducing the iPhone XS, it reduced the cost of its iPhone 7 to $449. That’s a steal!

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a tastier September deal, then look to get your paws on some pizza.

Expect discounts from your favorite shops across the board on Friday, September 20th, which is National Pepperoni Pizza day.

Last year, Pizza Hut offered a medium pepperoni pizza for $1 when buying a large pizza at regular price.

Eat a ton on the 20th, then do your museum hopping on the 21st when several museums across the state let you go and see all for free.

It's part of Smithsonian Museum Day, free entry for one day only. Discover & learn at places like the Michigan Science Center, Cranbrook Art Museum and Yankee Air <useum – admission is usually between $8-24 dollars but you can get in at no cost.

Grab your tickets at smithsonianmag.com/museumday. One ticket printed online gets you free admission for two.
