A 23-year-old man has died after accidentally shooting himself in the head.
It happened Sunday afternoon at a home north of Mack and East of Van Dyke on Detroit's east side.
According to police, the man was playing with a shotgun upstairs in his bedroom when it discharged.
Children were inside the home, but they were not hurt.
