Detroit police are investigating after a 5-year-old boy reportedly tested positive for cocaine.
According to police, a mother told the hospital her son was acting erratically around 6 p.m. Tuesday and took him to the hospital for a psychiatric analysis.
Sources tell 7 Action News that the 5-year-old tested positive for cocaine. Child Protective Services are also investigating.
Police are waiting on the toxicology test results, and the mother is in custody.
