The mother of a 5-year-old girl seen riding her bike alone in Detroit has been located, police say.
Police say the Kizzy Wells was found riding her bike alone on Puritan Avenue in Detroit on Wednesday.
Wells was found by a passerby. That person flagged down officers at 4 p.m., after attempting to locate where the child lived, and then reported to police that Wells was found without adult supervision.
The child was taken to Detroit's Second Precinct, 131530 Lesure.
