Police say a man armed with a shotgun shot off a woman's finger during a barricaded situation.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the location of 10480 Balfour. The victim was shot, and then the suspect went inside the home at 11 p.m.
Around 3 a.m., the suspect was arrested by Detroit police at his mother's home in the 3600 block of Cass Avenue.
The 35-year-old victim sustained a wound to her right hand.
