Beast Coast concert at Freedom Hill canceled due to threat of 'possible mass shooting'

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) — A threat of gun violence forced the cancellation of the Beast Coast concert at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights Sunday night.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, promoters were forced to cancel the concert due to a "possible mass shooting" threat.

The Sterling Heights Police Department was also notified of the shooting threat. They have turned the investigation over to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.

According to 313 Presents, tickets can be refunded at point of purchase, and tickets purchased online or by phone will automatically be refunded.
