You've certainly heard of a pet cat or dog running away, but have you heard of a pet lizard straying from home?

The Chesterfield Township Police Department is trying to reunite a resident with his 8-year-old pet lizard that wandered away from home on Sunday, May 13.

The police department posted on its Facebook page on Monday this message:

A $100 reward will be offered to whomever locates and returns the bearded dragon to its home. And don't be frightened if you come in contact with the reptile, police say this breed of lizard is non-threatening.
