A Dearborn Heights police officer was sentenced in a fatal crash that occurred in Allen Park in January 2017.
Larry A. Little was sentenced to 18 months of probation and 180 hours of community service on the misdemeanor of Moving Violation Causing Death.
In addition, he has resigned his MCOLES certification, which is required to work as a police officer.
Little was accused of speeding in a marked police car before crashing into a vehicle driven by Timothy Lee Turner, 59, of Wixom on January 1, 2017.
Turner died from his injuries.
