A popular restaurant in Dearborn has served its last meal.

The Sign of the Beefcarver shut down Monday after more than 50 years on Michigan Avenue. A Facebook post regarding the closing has received a lot of reactions.

Some people are upset that there was no warning so they could pay one lest visit to a place filled with memories.

The building has reportedly been sold for redevelopment. The Beefcarver's last location in Royal Oak will remain open.
