The Lyon Township Fire Department responded to a deer versus car collision on I-96 Saturday afternoon.
Officials say the car accident happened on westbound I-96 between Kent Lake and Kensington.
A photo from the scene shows a deer in the backseat of a severely damaged vehicle. The windshield is completely destroyed.
The driver and passenger sustained minor injuries, according to police.
Police have not released any further details.
