Detroit gas station clerk arrested for allegedly shooting customer after argument

A gas station clerk was taken into custody in connection with a deadly shooting on Detroit's west side.

Investigators tell 7 Action News the clerk got into an argument with a customer Sunday afternoon at a Citgo station in the 17000 block of W. McNichols.

The clerk came from behind the counter and fired shots at the customer's chest. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The clerk was taken into custody at the scene and then arrested after being interviewed.
