The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a vehicle involved in a non-fatal shooting.

Officers say the incident occurred on Detroit's east side on April 1 at around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Schoenherr and Lappin streets.

Three people were riding inside of a white SUV when they made a turn on to Lappin when a burgundy sedan pulled along the driver's side of the SUV and fired several shots. The suspects then fled.

If anyone recognizes the suspect vehicle, or has information on this case, they are asked to call the Detroit Police Department's Ninth Precinct's Detective Unit at (313) 596-5940. Or contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
