Detroit police seeking missing man suffering from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder

Detroit police are seeking a 67-year-old missing man who suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

George Wendell Martin was last seen by his brother-in-law at their home in the 2200 block of Field on March 21.

He left the location and did not return.

Police say Martin rides the DOT bus wherever he goes and also frequents the following locations: Detroit Public Library, - Woodward Avenue, Wayne State Library and Elmwood Cemetery.

Martin is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds with a light complexion, brown eyes, salt and pepper hair that is long in length combed to the back, wears glasses and walks with a cane.

He was last seen wearing a brown hoodie sweater over his jeans.

Police say he is in good physical condition.
