HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson will be in Detroit on Thursday to announce the first round of "EnVision Center" demonstration communities.

Carson will be joined by Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Detroit native and NFL Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis, Life Remodeled Founder Chris Lambert and Lou Holtz.
The EnVision Centers will offer HUD-assisted families access to support services. That will then hopefully get them self-sufficient and responsible homeowners in the private market.
A press conference will happen at 9 a.m. in Detroit.
