Police and fire are at the scene of a fire at a strip mall in Melvindale near Allen Road.
According to police, there are a few houses in the area of the strip mall at 3600 Oakwood that are being evacuated as a precaution. The houses being evacuated are located on Prospect, police say.
No injuries have been confirmed.
