Monroe police looking for suspect who tied up employee, robbed cell phone store

MONROE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Boost Mobile store in Monroe.

On Jan. 21, a man entered the store, located at N. Telegraph Road. Police say he displayed a black semi automatic handgun before demanding cash and merchandise from the store employee.

The suspect used zip ties to restrain the employee, police say, before leaving with several phones and cash.

Police say there are no reported injuries.
