Macomb County teacher hit by minivan while working as crossing guard dies from injuries

A teacher who was hit by a minivan while working as a crossing guard on March 23 died from her injuries, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's office.

The 57-year-old Lenox Township woman was a teacher at Prevail Academy in Mt. Clemens.

No one else was injured.

The sheriff's office said the driver was cooperating with deputies. The case will be presented to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office for possible charges once the investigation is completed.
