A man accused of fatally shooting his wife in Madison Heights Thursday was ordered to be held with no bond.

Madison Heights Police were called to 29328 Tawas on a report of a person shot. The caller, identified as 44-year-old Brian Chris Lytle, said he got into an argument with the victim and shot her.

When officers arrived on scene, Lytle reportedly refused to exit the house. After 15 minutes, he was talked out of the house.

Police say officers found 37-year-old Reagan Lytle deceased inside the home with a gunshot wound to the head. Brian was arrested at the scene.

Police say their two children, 12 and 13 years old, were at the home during the shooting. Lytle reportedly took the children to a relative's house in Detroit after the incident and then returned back to the residence alone and called 911.

The children were physically unharmed during the incident and have been placed with relatives by Child Protective Services. A GoFundMehas been created to help them. Another fundraiser has been set up here.

On Friday, Lytle was charged with Open Murder and Felony Firearm and was ordered to be held with no bond. His next court date is scheduled for May 2.
