A man has been arrested for speeding and hitting a street sweeper, causing it to roll over.
At 3 a.m. Friday, a 26-year-old man from Detroit was detained after a crash occurred on I-96 near Wyoming Avenue.
Investigation revealed that a 2018 Dodge Charger was traveling at a high rate of speed on westbound I-96, lost control and struck a street sweeper, causing it to roll over.
There were no reported injuries.
Police say the driver had six outstanding misdemeanor warrants and did not have a driver's license.
He was cited for Reckless Driving and no license for the crash.
