Fraser police have arrested a man and woman in connection to a purse snatching at a gas station on Thursday.
According to police, the woman was pumping gas at a Speedway on 14 Mile and Utica Rd. when a man entered her vehicle and removed her purse. Surveillance video showed the man climbing through two cars to get inside the woman's vehicle.
Police located the suspect vehicle at a Meijer with a woman inside. The sergeant then confronted the male suspect in the store trying to cas the victim's payroll check and use her credit cards. Both were arrested without incident.
When police impounded the vehicle, they also found several other stolen property from an unrelated theft.
Both were arraigned on several felony charges Friday morning. Samir Beydoun was charged with Larceny of a Vehicle, Stolen Property, Operating with a Suspended License and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny from a Motor Vehicle. His bond is set at $100,000.
Renee Yeldell was given through felony offenses, including Possession of a Financial Transaction Device, Controlled Substance Possession of Analog and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny from a Motor Vehicle.
Her bond is set at $10,000.
