A man is in serious condition after being shot in the face in Detroit around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police say the 34-year-old victim was sitting in his living room in the 13000 block of Tacoma when the suspect barged through the front door and shot him in the face.
The victim grabbed a 2x4 piece of wood and struck the suspect in the head.
Scouts on scene recovered the weapon and the suspect was arrested at the hospital.
Police say the suspect, a 51-year-old man, is in stable condition.
