A man who was struck by a car on Gratiot Avenue in Roseville Saturday night died from his injuries.
Police say the investigation is still in its initial stages, but it appears that the 25-year-old victim attempted to cross against the light and was struck by a car traveling in the left lane driven by a 58-year-old man from Waterford.
The driver stayed on the scene after the crash and was cooperative with investigators.
Police say they do not believe the driver was under the influence during the time of the crash. It is also unknown whether the victim was under the influence of any substance.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he passed away.
It is unknown at this time if the driver may face charges or what the charges may be as a result of the incident.
