New lofts coming to Detroit's Midtown will cost $400K and higher

New lofts are coming to Detroit's Midtown neighborhood expected to be ready in the fall of 2018.

The James Place Lofts, located on Mack Ave. in Brush Park, will feature 11 new condominiums with either garden-level or townhouse-style condos.

Expected to offer open-concept floor plans, the smart-home ready condos will be designed by Krieger Klatt Architects. 

They will include:

  • 10-foot ceilings
  • Master bedroom & bath
  • Walk-in master closet
  • Site finished oak floors
  • Large private patio or balcony
  • Ciot designer quartz counters
  • KitchenAid stainless steel appliances
  • GROHE faucets and fixtures
  • SMART HOME lights, sound and voice features
  • NEST learning thermostat

Those who buy the condos will also have the opportunity to customize several options.

The first-floor garden-style condos are expected to come in around the mid-$400,000 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The townhomes will be priced in the mid-$500,000 with 2 beds and 2.5 baths.
