People came decked out as their favorite super heroes to help support a metro Detroit kid battling a rare disease.

Hiatham Breadity has an extremely rare terminal disease called Lafora Body Disease. Only 200 children in the world have this disease and treatment is still a ways off.

On Friday, the family asked for a donation to make Hiatham a part of the clinical trial because it's been hard getting any help.

They have set up a GoFundMe to raise money for the trial.
