Police have arrested two men involved in an active shooter situation at a business in Huron Township.
Huron Township police responded to a situation at Quality Pipe on Huron River Drive on Wednesday, June 21 at 1:54 p.m.
According to a release, patrol staff and detectives were working through the evening and into the morning gathering information and interviewing witnesses. Based on the information gathered, police arrested two men on Thursday in reference to the incident.
Jeffery Dale Hamilton, 44, of Wyandotte, was arrested and charged with reckless discharge of a firearm and obstruction of justice.
Roger Michael Melton, 67, of Bloomfield Village, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice.
Both men posted bond and were released from custody, police say. A weapon was also recovered from the crime scene on Thursday.
