Police arrest 2 suspects wanted for allegedly shooting a man in Harper Woods

Authorities have taken two suspects into custody following a Thursday morning shooting in Harper Woods.

Police arrived to Eastland Village Drive to find a man shot multiple times in the vestibule of an apartment building.

According to a release, the victim was taken to St. John Hospital and is currently in temporary serious condition, but is expected to recover. 

Haper Woods Department of Public Safety obtained a search warrant for a residence on Beaconsfield near E. Warren in Detroit within two hours of the shooting.

Detectives entered the home and took one man and one woman into custody without incident. 

During the search, officers found several firearms.

Police say the two suspects were transported to the Harper Woods Department of Public Safety and are being held without bond on multiple felony charges.
