Police are scouring surveillance video to find clues in a series of carjackings.

Three cases were reported Wednesday within a 45 minute span in Detroit and Highland Park.

The first crime happened at 8 Mile and Livernois.  A man was seen on surveillance video approaching a person in a Dodge Charger.

Two people were spotted grabbing a child in the car seat and running away as the suspect took the car.

Twenty minutes later, a blue Dodge Charger was stolen in Highland Park.

Police say the same Charger was used in the third case at the Mobil gas station near 7 Mile and Outer Drive.

No one was hurt.
