Police are looking for three men who were involved in a robbery at a 7-Eleven store located at Dequindre Road in Madison Heights.

The 46-year-old clerk said the suspects fled the location in a black four-door car after the robbery. Officers arrived on scene and checked the area, but the vehicle and suspects couldn't be located.

Police say three men entered the store and were involved in the robbery. One suspect was wearing a white face mask and black hat, a second suspect was wearing black clothing with long black hair and a third suspect was wearing a black face mask and black hoodie.

The clerk said he was approached by one of the men who pointed a handgun to his head and demanded he open the register. The clerk complied and one of the other suspects grabbed about $300 from the register.

The third suspect remained by the door and then fled with the other two suspects in a black four-door car parked in the front of the store.

Madison Heights police sent a message to area departments to be on the lookout for the vehicle and suspects.

Roseville police said they attempted to stop a vehicle with three men inside for a traffic violation, and it failed to stop for officers. Officers did not chase it, but it was found abandoned a short distance away.

Evidence left at the car included a gun and clothing matching the Madison Heights robbery suspects. The vehicle was also found to have been taken in a carjacking in Detroit on April 26.
