The Van Buren Township Police Department is warning residents to be aware after items were stolen from multiple vehicles in subdivisions in the area.
Police say the thefts happened in the Pine Forest subdivision and Mission Point subdivision.
The suspect or suspects reportedly entered unlocked vehicles and stole money, credit cards and an iPad, according to police reports.
Residents are asked to lock their unattended vehicles and report any suspicious activity to 734-699-8930.
