A 17-year-old was arraigned and given a $25,000 personal bond regarding a threat at Port Huron High School that was reported on Monday.
Brenna Simpson, from Smiths Creek, was arraigned on one count of Attempt Unlawful Posting, a one-year misdemeanor.
She has also been banned from school property, police say.
The Port Huron Police Department takes threats of school violence very seriously, they said, and threats are investigated thoroughly.
