After weeks worth of repairs, the pothole work on I-696 in Macomb and Oakland counties, I-75 and Telegraph Road is finally complete.
MDOT announced early Wednesday morning that crews completed the $5 million project.
Now, county road crews will continue to patrol MDOT roads for pothole filling.
Next in construction is the Moving Macomb project, which will begin in the next month or so.
That's when westbound I-696 will close completely through Macomb County from Dequindre Rd. to I-94. For more information on that project, visit MovingMacomb.org.
